Serious collectors know a good thing when they see it, and when you lay eyes on some of the striking animal figurines you can buy – you will be hooked.  Not only will you be buying them for presents, you will be making sure to get an extra one or two for your own collection.

It depends on what kind of animal figurines you want, but the mediums they are cast in offer you a lot of choices.  Sandicast, crystal, various woods, clay, porcelain and even plastic (high quality) are just a small sampling of what you can purchase.  Make sure if you are collecting animal figurines made of glass or crystal that you have the right kind of display shelf for them.  Also make sure you watch where you place the figurines on the shelf to avoid any of them sliding off.

While your friends might think you have taken leave of your senses, you know your collection of animal figurines brings you many hours of pleasure.  Besides each figurine you have collected over the years has a story attached to it about where you found it.  Many may have been gifts from friends who know your secret love.  Well, ok, not so secret now since they happen to be all over your house.  Not much wonder is it when you have been collecting since you were in high school.
