Which fantasy tabletop miniatures game is the best?

Out of: Warhammer Fantasy, Hordes, Warmachine, Secrets of the Third Reich and Lord of the Rings. By the best I mean not stupidly expensive, not too complicated, and the most fun to play, and give reasons please!!!

Well, I would say Warhammer Fantasy. It is probably the most expensive of the group, but not really if you stick to only one army (I play goblins) and keep it small around 800-1000 points. The plus side of it is the systems has the most players around, been rule tested above and beyond, is supported at GW stores and has local and national tournaments such as games day and grand tournaments. The game has also been around for 25 years so it isn’t going away anytime soon.

Go to Games-workshops.com and look around, they have several different games to choose from. Warhammer Fantasy, 40K, Mordheim, LOTR, & Battle fleet gothic. Warhammer Fantasy and Mordheim. I started out with Mordheim because it does not require alot of money and can be played by several people at once. Warhammer figures can be used in the game as well. This allows you to build a army and play as well.
