How does barbie dolls change how young girls look at themslves?
Im trying to prove my thesis statement for my project. Iam doing barbie dolls. I need iformatoin place if u can give it to me you wil be a big help. So thanks and have a great rest of the day. Iam a 11th grader too

barbie dolls used to represent class…and now i think they represent trash. you got all these hoochie clothes for the doll that these young girls supposed to play with…times have definitly changed. Now girls want to be on a diet, change their hair color and all that BS. its a shame. its up to the parents to save our children*and LOVE is the answer.

It gives an example to a young mind that society believes "This (Barbie and friends) is what a young woman is supposed to look like." Giving them a false impression of themselves.

It makes them feel bad about themselves especially if they are overweight because the barbies are skinny and have big boobs, and they are toys for young girls and that is what they will look up to! Also, they wear a lot of makeup and young girls think that they should too, because their favourite toys do… hope I helped.
