How do I create my own inflatable sculptures?
I have some rough ideas – I know that I can make it out of polythelene or pvc or latex thought I dont know which is the best way to go. I imagine them as made like innertube tires. I also need info on the best way to make seam, and of course a valve to allow air inside. I am having trouble finding any info online, or any shops that could provide me with more info. Any advice is really appreciated…

Just putting ideas out there:
I think that you would purchase the material and sew it to the form that you want. I would probably go to a bike shop and get a replacement valve for a bike. You might be able to go to an auto store for the same type of valve. Not sure about the other type of valve… the one on toys, but perhaps you could buy some cheap pool toys from the dollar store and use them? Once constructed, you would need to paint the seams with a air tight glue… some type of flexible vinyl glue.

Try a scuba or sports shop they might sell the product I believe it is called neopreem or something like that it is used in the repair of you guessed it scuba suits.
I use it in the repair of the latex and foam latex mask that get damaged at my store
