I have an idea; you could add a link to the untouched and completed picture in your video description, because the quality of the compressed videos sometimes makes it harder to understand the effects etc. :)

Not your video and the guy who made it, not his idea either.

would taking a photo of a model scene and reversing the the procedure/treatments make it more realistic (only toying with CS2)

thanks for the tutorial… one question though, when you create the mask, can you make it round insted of rectangular? and wouldn’t that be more like a real tilt-shift lens?

This reminds me of the redibank and NAB bank commercial. I always wondered whether it was real minatures or not.

I’m following your steps to the word but the middle of my image is marginally blurred also no matter how much I fiddle with the blur mask. What could be the problem? Thanks for the tutorial.

A few months back there was this commercial which had that same effect except it was zooming in and out of family residential neighborhood. does anyone remember that commercial. I think the guy who was narrating the commercial was the black guy from “24″ who played president david palmer.
Well my question is. How can i accomplish this in after effects?
