Are you like me and struggle with keyword research? I can find lots of them. Most of what I find are just not good enough.

When I used Google’s keyword tool I trusted the results 100%. After all, they should be giving out accurate info. Well, that’s not always the case.

What you see (the data) is not what you get. But it probably was at the time they put it together. I accidentally discovered the answer to that puzzle.

I homed in on a key phrase with roughly 5000 competing websites. I was pretty confident I could get a result from that. I started churning out articles by the bucket load.

Soon after I noticed Google telling me there was about 9000 competing pages now. I could hardly believe that. Had there been some mistake? I was relieved to see that an awful lot of these competitors were showing my articles.

My point being is that I’d have swerved this keyword if I had seen nine thousand competitors. As a lot of them were mine (or had my article on) I was competing against my self most of the time. A win win situation if you ask me.

Not wanting to rely on luck every time I thought I’d try a keyword research service. My hope was to get some ‘killer’ keywords delivered by email every day. I calculated the cost of these services and concluded that they were value for money.

I chose to give Travis Sago’s Instacash keyword service a go. After all, he’s the king of the bum marketers. Bum marketing only costs my time so it’s my kind of marketing.

If I can get a keyword or two in my in box each day then that saves me valuable time. At least a two hour saving. Two hours or so to me is quite valuable. Put that couples hours saved against the daily cost and it adds up to value.

Outsourcing, outsourcing, outsourcing. Seems to be all you hear from the gurus of internet marketing. I reckon there’s not much difference here. Outsourcing my keyword research to someone else.

If you want to hear about my trial of the Instacash service get yourself over to my website. I also mentioned earlier how I got thousands of articles on web pages all over the net. I’ll also tell you how I did that at my site.
