can i use SEMEN as a glaze for my clay sculptures?
May 13th, 2011 Posted 7:17 pm
Im an artist, i make clay sculptures. very organic looking vessels, i know when you mix glazes they change color.. so what would happen if you put blood or semen on the sculpture and then fired it in the kiln??? do you think itll turn black? make a cool pattern? im intersted in trying this, i have looked online and found nothing about a clay artist trying this.. what are your thoughts?

What's up with 3 British Museum sculptures of a bull being pinched in the testicles by a horseshoe crab?
May 10th, 2011 Posted 4:51 am
At the British Museum I saw several sculptures of bulls in some sort of conflict with a person. In each of these I also noted the fact that at the bottom of the sculpture a horseshoe crab was pinching the bulls testicles. These sculptures are always of a bull in some sort of conflict. I saw probably 3 examples of this and I cannot figure out why. It seems pretty childish but these are old sculptures and probably simbolizes something. No one at the museum that I asked could explain this. The curiousity is killing me!!

How do you play the game Sculptures (aka Chinese Sculptures)?
February 27th, 2011 Posted 9:51 am
My friends were playing it the other night. They would take random objects, position them, and we would have to guess which person the "sculptures" were just by looking at the position of the object. It’s kind of like a guessing game, with some kind of pattern to it. Can someone tell me how it’s played? What determines what sculpture is which person? Thanks!
