Best miniatures game: Warmachine, or Warhammer (Fantasy or 40k)?
August 10th, 2011 Posted 7:06 pm
I’m trying to decide on a new hobby. I enjoy painting miniatures and I love strategy games. This is a question for all miniature wargamers out there; between Warmachine and Warhammer (fantasy or 40k), which is the best game? My main concern is gameplay – I like a game with a lot of strategic depth and do not mind if it takes a couple hours to unfold. Too many trivial rules are a drawback. In your opinion, which game is more playable and strategic?

Where is the best place to sell gaming miniatures?
April 11th, 2011 Posted 4:45 am
If I were to own a gaming store, and I had plenty of boxed gaming miniatures lying around (MonsterPocalypse booster packs, Warmachine blisters, Warmachine and Hordes unit boxes, Warhammer 40,000 boxes…)
where would be the best place to sell them? Amazon? eBay? Buy.com? Start my own selling website?

What are some cool miniatures games?
February 4th, 2011 Posted 9:48 am
Right now I have two 2500+ point warhammer 40k armies but the game just seems like its starting to lose its fun for me. What are some cool miniatures games (that are still in production so nothing like MechWarrior or anything like that) that one can play. I have looked into things like Flames of War and Warmachine but I honestly have no idea what goes on in those games so a short run down would be nice too.
Thanks in advance

Am I supposed to build WarMachine/WarHammer miniatures before I paint them?
August 25th, 2010 Posted 7:34 pm
Or is it the other way around?
Some parts on the War Machine mini’s seem like they would be difficult to paint after assembly.
Thanks!
Thanks for all the answers!
I only buy metal figs from Games Workshop, and of course WarMachine is always metal.
I only actually play WarMachine, I just like looking at the GW figs.
Anyways, thanks again for all the help!

What is the best type of paint to use on metal miniatures?
April 6th, 2010 Posted 7:43 pm
I’m thinking about getting into the Warmachine tabletop strategy game. I believe the miniatures for that game are metallic. The most experience I’ve had painting minis was with plastic ones. Is there a particular type of paint that is better applied to metal figures than plastic ones?
