"Oh come on Jenny, you have shelves full of glass animal figurines!  Why do you want to buy more of them?"  Heard that one before?  Been collecting for many years and can't stop?  It's a passion right?  And it's very hard to try and explain that to someone who doesn't think figurines are "the greatest thing since sliced bread." 

Once you start a collection of glass animal figurines, you can't stop.  It's a little like eating potato chips, you can't eat just one.  The details of these figurines are remarkable and you can get just about every animal in the alphabet – from antelopes to zebras.  Can't you just imagine having your own zoo at home?  That's actually a lot of fun, and it doesn't matter what other people say about your "eccentricities" – collecting is YOU and you are not going to give it up.  Blown glass will some day be worth something financially, if not sentimentally.  Besides you want to pass your stunning collection on to your children and their children.
