Wicked Witch Figurines

This so reminds me of the wicked witch of the west from the Wizard of Oz!  Didn't you just love that movie?  Of course that witch became the most hated witch for her attempts to stop Dorothy from reaching the end of the Yellow Brick Road.  Nasty woman, but know what?  She made one heck of a great witch figurine. She was THE witch to collect if you were going to start collecting witch figurines.  Or, even if you only just wanted her, she made a fine collectible.  Even today she is considered a coup to have in your collection.

Today there are other witches, including your mother in law.  Aaaahhhh!  Just kidding!  There are other witches with great character that can spice up your collection, including good witches (otherwise called white witches).  Then there are also kitchen witches that are supposed to keep you from burning the food.  As if!  I need one of those around here.

Bubble, bubble boil and trouble, witches, cats and skulls are trouble. Ok, Shakespeare wouldn't like that adaptation much.  Take some time and have fun with your witch collection.  It can be made up of all kinds of decorative witches in a variety of mediums from wood to resin.  But if you do choose to start a collection of witch figurines, make sure the centerpiece is – you guessed it – the Wicked Witch of the West.  Gotta love her!
